“The National Work Zone Memorial – Respect and Remembrance: Reflections of Life on the Road” program honors roadway workers, drivers, passengers, pedestrians, police officers and first responders killed in work zone accidents. Inscribed with nearly 1,400 names as a tribute to fallen roadway workers, the Memorial winds its way throughout the country each year to raise public awareness about the need to respect America’s roadway work zones and stay safe.

The Memorial is available to ATSSA member companies and chapters for work zone awareness events and educational forums. The names submitted for 2016 will be honored during the Opening General Session.

3M Pledge Wall

Due to the success of last year’s fundraiser, 3M’s Traffic Safety and Security Division is once again poised to feature the “3M Toward Zero Deaths Pledge Wall” during ATSSA’s upcoming Annual Convention & Traffic Expo, Feb. 10-14 in Phoenix.

“Visitors to the pledge wall can make a donation and then simply write down the amount of their donation to The Foundation and the person they wish to honor on a 3M Post It Note and place the note on the wall. 3M will match Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship pledges up to $5,000,” said Foundation Director Neil Mullanaphy.

To make a donation during ATSSA’s Convention & Traffic Expo, visit the Toward Zero Deaths Pledge Wall at the 3M Lounge in Booth #1119.

You can also pledge now by donating online.
